| Oh my gosh, a place I can talk about myself? You shouldn't have.. ;] Well... Hey there! I'm Laa, or Kinchi if you will. I recently started drawing again after a few years break, and found I really enjoyed the work that came out of it. I've never taken an art class (besides regular ones at school), and everything is pretty much self-taught. (Besides a very artistic older sister's influence, ya'know.) I hope to get better the more I draw. Mostly everything is with a 7mm mechanicaly pencil, and I need to upgrade that to 2B or 3B, but so now a lot of the time the artwork I post will have fine lines. But once I get some better pencils, paper, and erasers, I hope I can improve on that. I also only draw things I look at directly. I haven't had much luck drawing from the imagination, but maybe that will change. And no, nothing is traced either. I'm hoping sketching photos will only be practice for me, and that later on I can improve on my creativity. Another wall that holds me back from improvement is my lack of Photoshop. Hopefully I get a tablet one day... if I save up for a really, really long time... And has anyone noticed my horrible background skills? Yeah, I'll try to improve on that too. Anyways.
